About the Role

As a key member of our Plant and Tool division at GAP GROUP PROPERTIES LIMITED, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting heavy goods vehicles across the UK. Your expertise will be utilised to transport a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small power tools to our customers in the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGVs safely and efficiently over long distances, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, mileage and any defects encountered during transport, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
  • Conduct regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and compliant with regulations, guaranteeing a safe transportation experience.
  • Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment, fostering strong relationships within the team.
Requirements:
  • Cat C (or equivalent) license, obtained through rigorous training and assessment.
  • Experience driving HGVs in a similar role, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse environments.
  • Able to lift and move equipment as required, demonstrating physical stamina and agility.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently, prioritising tasks effectively.
