We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at NEXT.

This role is based in Milton Keynes and involves working closely with Store Teams to provide a safe and secure working and shopping environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying high-risk areas and acting as a strong deterrent on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.
  • Working closely with Store Teams and local police to build strong relationships.
  • Engaging with store management to ensure Company LP standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Actioning any other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous security experience within a retail environment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work across different stores and opening times.
  • Ability to travel on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores.
  • Commitment to keeping Store Teams and customers safe.
  • Well-organized with the ability to work well in a fast and busy store.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and always ready to use initiative.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build great relationships.
  • Fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
