Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex equipment, including pumps, conveyors, presses, gearboxes, turbines, and steam boilers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related problems
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade, such as electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and repair, preferably on Siemens S7 systems
  • Electrical bias, with knowledge of the 17th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
