About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington or Bicester, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of relevant function group, defining requirements for systems function and integration, and managing interface with Styling.
  • Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of one of the vehicle closure systems: Bonnet System, Doors System, Tailgate System.
  • Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components, ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  • Work Package Management, Design Sizing Analysis, and Assembly level simulation, cost, timing, and mass.
  • Mentor and support professional development of all colleagues, particularly junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy requirements within areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Deliver complex commodities by taking ownership, leading, and developing a team to produce high-quality output.
  • Develop technology roadmaps for function group.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within Automotive closures.
  • Significant and proven closures experience, knowledge, and experience.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and are always focused on achieving great results.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive towards a common goal.
  • A calm multitasker who successfully managed, prioritized, and executed against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
