About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Planning Volunteer to join our team in Rutland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about countryside conservation and has a keen interest in planning policy.

In this role, you will work closely with our conservation team to investigate planning applications and influence their outcome. You will also contribute to national consultations and policy development.

Key requirements include:

  • A strong understanding of planning principles and practices
  • Experience in investigating planning applications and influencing their outcome
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We offer a competitive salary of £18,500 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus out-of-pocket travel expenses.
