About the Job:

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer - PSV to join our client's Engineering team in Halstead. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing public service vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of public service vehicles and contribute to the success of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, with experience in performing routine services and carrying out repairs.

The salary for this role is £40,500 - £45,000 per annum, with overtime available and optional. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, where you can grow and develop your skills.

Job Requirements:

  1. Servicing, maintenance and repair of public service vehicles
  2. Performing vehicle inspections
  3. Preparing vehicles for MOT presentations
  4. Correcting running defects
