Consultant in A&E Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in A&E to join our successful Emergency Medicine department at a prestigious NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for examining and treating patients in the Emergency Department, supporting clinical decision-making, and participating in senior medical meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and treat patients in the Emergency Department
  • Support clinical decision-making of medical and nursing clinicians
  • Attend Department out of hours as per job plan
  • Support Department in Mass Casualty situations
  • Participate in Senior Medical meetings
  • Act as Educational and Clinical Supervisor for Junior and Middle Grade Medical staff
  • Undertake and supervise clinical audits and quality improvement projects

Requirements:

  • GMC Registration
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine
