Job Title: Lead Product Designer - Innovation Strategist

We're looking for an experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team in the UK, Spain, or South Africa. As a key member of our design team, you'll lead a pod of designers to deliver high-quality digital products that exceed client expectations.

Salary:

£80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
  • Lead a team of designers to develop innovative design solutions for complex digital products.
  • Line manage and develop the careers of other designers within your team.
  • Continuously lead the creation, testing, and iteration of prototypes to deliver cutting-edge design solutions.
  • Creative application of client brands to create unique UI designs that differentiate while remaining 100% usable.
  • Plan and deliver workshops that engage and excite clients.
  • Expertise in creating design systems that document design decisions.
  • Comfortable presenter able to engage clients and other Tangent team members.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to plan sprints and design activities.
  • Manage client expectations by making informed decisions that balance client satisfaction with project commerciality and team morale.
  • Provide actionable feedback to designers during review sessions to support their development and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly experienced in digital transformation involving complex digital products.
  • Skilled in product design (UX & UI).
  • Proven track record leading designers to deliver innovative web and mobile digital products.
  • Demonstration of delivering previous design systems.
  • Experienced in leading agile design methodologies and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A desire to continually improve internal design processes.
  • A portfolio demonstrating recognisable, complex work for large enterprise brands.
