Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support our customer with contract work. If you have experience in manufacturing and are active in the market, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery such as pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, and conveyors.
  • Diagnose and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on rotating and static equipment.
  • Lubrication and Servicing: Ensure lubrication and servicing of equipment as per schedules.
Installation & Commissioning
  • Install New Systems: Install new mechanical systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Commissioning: Assist in the commissioning of equipment and ensure proper functioning post-installation.
Troubleshooting
  • Quick Troubleshooting: Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Analysis: Analyze equipment failures and suggest improvements to prevent recurring issues.
Welding & Fabrication
  • Basic Welding: Perform basic welding and fabrication work for modifications and repairs.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all fabricated parts comply with safety and quality standards.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in Safety Drills: Participate in safety drills and safety audits as required.
  • Report Safety Hazards: Report safety hazards and incidents in a timely manner.
