Job Summary

Eames Consulting is seeking a skilled Python Django Developer to join their team in developing innovative IP legal management solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining web applications, optimizing queries for large data sets, and ensuring high performance of the software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Utilize Django to design, develop, and maintain web applications that meet the requirements of the company.
  • Implement and Manage APIs: Use Django Rest Framework to implement and manage APIs that integrate with third-party services.
  • Integrate Third-Party Services: Integrate services like Twilio and SendGrid to enhance the functionality of the web applications.
  • Task Management: Utilize Celery and Redis to manage tasks and ensure efficient processing of large data sets.
  • Query Optimization: Optimize queries with PostgreSQL to ensure high performance of the software.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of web applications.
  • Quality and Performance: Ensure application quality and performance by debugging applications and writing efficient code.
  • Code Reviews and Test Coverage: Participate in code reviews and maintain test coverage to ensure the quality of the code.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Python Django Developer with a strong understanding of Django, Django Rest Framework, and Celery.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, query optimization, and familiarity with Requests library.
  • Coding Skills: Ability to write clean code and participate in code reviews.

Nice to Have:

  • Flask Experience: Previous experience with Flask.
  • NoSQL Databases: Knowledge of NoSQL Databases.
  • Business Integrations: Integrations with Business Central & One Drive.
  • AWS S3: Understanding of AWS S3.
  • Twilio and SendGrid: Experience with Twilio and/or SendGrid.
