About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to lead our team at the Birkenhead, Wirral clinic. As a pivotal role in our mission-driven Community Interest Company, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to sick pets while fostering a culture of growth and learning among a team of skilled clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a diverse team of veterinary professionals, ensuring high standards of care and continuous professional development.
  2. Handle a varied caseload, including emergency and critical care, advanced ultrasound, orthopaedic surgery, endoscopy, and other advanced procedures.
  3. Participate in regular Lead Vet meetings and management training to align clinic practices with our community goals.
  4. Promote and embody our commitment to the pet owning community, ensuring compassionate and effective care that aligns with our ethos as a B-Corporation and Community Interest Company.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with extensive experience in emergency and critical care.
  2. Strong technical proficiency in advanced veterinary procedures.
  3. A passionate commitment to our social mission, with a focus on affordable veterinary care and community well-being.
What We Offer

An attractive salary range of £61,000-£70,000. Comprehensive benefits package, including:

  1. 6 weeks of holiday per year.
