The Role:

We are currently seeking a Care Worker to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our clients in their own homes. This will include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Supporting with medication administration and ensuring that clients take their medication as prescribed.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that clients have access to nutritious food.
  • Supporting with accessing the local community, such as shopping, activities, and trips.
  • Assisting with day-to-day household duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Supporting with any other day routines that our clients may have.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Experience of working in a care setting and a good understanding of care principles and practices.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to use a care management system.
