Job Title: Senior Development Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Officer to join our team at Vanilla Recruitment (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the development of new quality assurance standards and processes in relation to Tailored Course Approval.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance standards and processes for Tailored Course Approval
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on the company's tailored course approval service
  • Review learning content against company standards and criteria
  • Make informed decisions on whether to approve or reject learning content based on criteria such as quality, accuracy, strategic fit, and need
  • Write clear and concise reports detailing the reasons for approval or rejection
  • Lead standardization exercises to ensure consistency in rejection and approval decisions across the team
  • Develop training standards and quality processes to support the development of company products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, maintain, and promote standards that support the company strategy
  • Identify opportunities to bring efficiencies across the TCA function
  • Contribute to reports on service levels and other business measures, including income
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant health and safety practice
  • Knowledge of relevant training and learning best practice
  • Understanding of auditing principles and how to apply them to the assessment of learning content
  • Excellent report writing skills with a high standard of written English
  • Experience of working with external stakeholders to develop and maintain quality assurance standards and processes
  • Managing a team is desirable
  • Educated to GCSE Level, having a minimum of 5 x GCSE's (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Level 3 qualification (or above/or equivalent experience) in safety and health is desirable
  • Level 3 (or above/or equivalent experience) qualification in training, teaching or education is desirable
