We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our Service team at our Nottingham Van Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge to diagnose faults and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle defects, identifying areas for repair and maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to maintain expertise

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computer systems
  • MOT Licence
  • Full, UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude and strong team player mentality
  • Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn and develop
