Nursery Director

At Grandir UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Taunton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the nursery runs effectively each day, providing professional leadership and promoting high standards of quality within the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
• Ensuring that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Responsible for all administrative duties associated with the nursery, such as maintaining children's records, ordering equipment, maintaining inventories, and keeping personnel records.
• Facilitating inspections by regulatory bodies and implementing any recommendations.
• Being responsible for ensuring the nursery remains compliant in respect of suitably trained staff with relevant first aid qualifications.
• Agreeing and delivering occupancy targets.
• Recruiting, inducting, supporting, training, and appraising all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
• Ensuring that all staff develop and maintain friendly and professional relationships with parents and carers.
