Nursing Home Operations Director

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nursing Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a leading recruitment agency, we take pride in providing our clients with top talent, and we believe this role will be an excellent fit for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Nursing Home Team: Provide strategic direction and oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Recruit and Retain Staff: Attract and hire skilled care professionals, and implement effective strategies to retain them, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy within the team.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the nursing home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
- Financial Management: Manage the nursing home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
- Administrative Tasks: Oversee all records to ensure the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performance Evaluation and Risk Management: Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes, while managing and mitigating risks effectively to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
- Previous experience managing a nursing home.
- A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
- A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
- Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
