About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Supervisor to join our team in Godalming. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and retail expertise to take on a key role in driving the success of our store.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including recruitment, stock control, and customer service. You will also play a vital role in maintaining high standards of store operations and ensuring that the store runs smoothly at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing Store Operations: You will oversee all aspects of store operations, including recruitment, stock management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Taking On Additional Responsibilities: In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take on additional responsibilities and ensure that the store continues to run smoothly.
  • Driving Sales Growth: You will work closely with your team to identify opportunities to increase sales and implement strategies to achieve targets.
Requirements:
  • 1 Year's Management Experience: You should have at least 1 year's experience in a retail management role.
  • Passionate About Retail: You should be passionate about retail and have a proven track record of delivering excellent results and maintaining high standards.
  • Flexible Working Hours: You should be flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.

  • Competitive Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
