Facilities Management Cost Estimator

A career opportunity has arisen for an experienced estimator to join our facilities management team in Barrow in Furness/North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bid and resource co-ordination process, providing information and preparing proposal submissions.
A key aspect of the role will be to use the BMF estimating package/system to verify bid validity and obtain specialist subcontractor costs. Regular site visits across the UK as part of the bid process will be necessary, along with attending Divisional Bid Meetings.
Salary: Up to £60,000 plus car allowance.
Requirements:
Educated to HNC/HND standard (or equivalent) is essential, with excellent management experience also required. Relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable) must be held, along with experience working within a QS capacity.
Relevant experience of estimating within the FM industry is also essential, with experience of working in an SFG20 environment being desirable. Proficient IT skills to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are necessary, along with the ability to obtain SC Clearance and hold a full UK driving licence.
