About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our busy and demanding IT Service Desk in Exeter. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for handling and resolving calls/tickets, providing first-line support to users within the Mears Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality first-line IT support service to customers.
  • Qualify, investigate, and resolve IT issues and requests in line with agreed Service Levels.
  • Escalate as appropriate to ensure a prompt restoration of service.
  • Work with the ServiceNow team to ensure efficient use of the platform.
  • Identify trends of issues and create problem records.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar Service Desk Analyst role.
  • Strong computer skills and a solid knowledge of MS Office Applications.
  • A 'can-do' attitude to problem-solving and ability to take ownership of issues.
