Job Description

Job Title: Configuration Management Team Lead

Job Summary:

The Applications Configuration Lead is a critical role that provides essential technical and configuration management expertise to the development and deployment of the Trust's systems and the future Electronic Patient Record (EPR). The postholder will lead the configuration of solutions for the routine configuration review and develop solutions that will contribute to the successful delivery and management of existing application ecosystem and the EPR Programme.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration of solutions for the routine configuration review and develop solutions that will contribute to the successful delivery and management of existing application ecosystem and the EPR Programme.
  • Work closely with the Applications Manager & IM&T team, operational staff to ensure that deployed system is configured correctly so that it is clinically and operationally fit for purpose.
  • Develop and implement system functionalities that meet the clinical and operational requirements of the Trust.
  • Collaborate with BHRUT and Barts Health NHS Trust to implement a new cross-care setting, real-time, patient-centric Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
  • Configure and deploy EPR systems, such as Oracle Health Millennium, Medway, Cerner, EMIS, or any other.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in application configuration and a strong understanding of the Trust's systems and the EPR Programme. They will be able to lead the configuration of solutions and develop solutions that will contribute to the successful delivery and management of existing application ecosystem and the EPR Programme.

Working Environment:

The postholder will work closely with the Applications Manager & IM&T team, operational staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that deployed system is configured correctly so that it is clinically and operationally fit for purpose.
