Cancer Immunogenomics Expert Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled Computational Genomics Specialist to join our interdisciplinary research team at the Francis Crick Institute. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct analyses of genomic and transcriptomic data using established pipelines.

About the Role:

  • Analyze DNA sequencing data to identify somatic mutations, copy number aberrations, and neoantigens.
  • Analyze RNA sequencing data to perform immune deconvolution and identify gene expression signatures.
  • Evaluate and provide state-of-the-art tools, databases, protocols, and methods necessary for the analysis of biological data.

Requirements:

  • Masters or higher degree in bioinformatics or a relevant discipline with extensive analytical component (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior experience or skills in cancer genomics.
  • Fluent in shell scripting and at least one of the following programming languages: R or Python.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
