Senior Draughtsman

We are proud to partner with a reputable design and manufacturing firm that serves various industries, including Pharmaceutical, Aerosol, Coatings, and Adhesives. Their expertise lies in offering a complete range of services: designing, testing, supplying, and commissioning equipment.

This opportunity arises due to the company's success, and they are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Draughtsman to work alongside the Automation Technicians on producing electrical wiring diagrams for the electrical control systems.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning from AutoCAD to EPLAN, collaborating with the Automation Department to establish and maintain consistent drawing standards.

• Produce detailed electrical drawings and panel layouts, accompanied by supporting documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware across projects.
• Guarantee that all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the project lifecycle and shared with relevant departments.

Key requirements for this position include:

• In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D.
• Formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (e.g., apprenticeship).
• An EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) qualification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Automated production machinery or similar capital equipment is beneficial.
