We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Institute for Physician Assistant Education at Widener University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the PA Program, developing curriculum, and participating in team and interdisciplinary teaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in the PA Program, including developing and teaching curriculum
  • Participate in team and interdisciplinary teaching
  • Develop and implement curriculum for the PA Program
  • Participate in scholarship and practice, including clinically-based or educationally-based research
  • Participate in service, including participating in university, college, and program faculty meetings

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in physician assistant studies or related field
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a physician assistant
  • Academic teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in physician assistant studies or related field
  • Graduate with a master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited college or university
  • Pennsylvania state licensure as a physician assistant or PA-state eligible
