Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at the Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing production lines to meet planned volume and commercial targets, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, and in accordance with QA and safety standards.
  • Effectively motivate and lead a team of production staff to meet production targets.
  • Ensure the final product meets client specifications and quality standards.
  • Maximize production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
  • Effectively use the integrated management system (Vision) to monitor and control production processes.
  • Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations.
  • Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
  • Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
  • Liaise with agency controllers on a day-to-day basis to provide feedback regarding agency workers.
  • Attend team leader meetings to discuss production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the training and development of new starters to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Act as a role model for best practice and lead by example.
  • Monitor, control and minimize waste to optimize production efficiency.
  • Play an active part in Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as required, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Participate in the company's appraisal system to ensure employee development and growth.
  • Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.
