Senior Buyer Opportunity

An exciting role has become available with a leading global manufacturing organisation, offering a chance to join their professional Purchasing Team as a Senior Buyer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for specified spend categories on behalf of user departments.
  • Developing effective business partnerships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Managing the commercial relationship between the Project Management Office team and external suppliers on specific projects.
  • Conducting supplier performance management reviews and participating in supplier price management.
  • Covering for the Procurement Manager as required.
Requirements:
  • CIPS qualification or other professional qualification.
  • Significant procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost improvement.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and SRM process.
  • Good technical understanding of procurement within Pharma, Food Supplements, and/or Cosmetics industries.
  • Proficient user of SAP or similar ERP system and general competency in MS Office.
  • Excellent English language skills with any other language skills beneficial.
