  • At IBIS, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Member to join our team of professionals responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. This role involves undertaking and managing various general maintenance tasks, such as painting, minor repairs, and conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a good understanding of English written and verbal communication and be able to work alone, as well as from heights. They should also possess a 'can-do' attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality service with minimal disruption to our guests and visitors.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting building structures, equipment, and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with established procedures and service agreements.
  • Key responsibilities include maintaining heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems; liaising with and supervising contractors and external providers; and assisting in record-keeping and logging daily repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.
  • As a champion of our hotel's commitments to the 'Environment Charter,' the successful candidate will actively contribute to environmental sustainability, safety, and security.
  • Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance role and be willing to undertake additional training to develop their skills and knowledge.
