Wild About Gardens Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Wilder Engagement Team, to run and develop the Wild About Gardens project at Kent Wildlife Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the project, including the recruitment and management of volunteers, and the development of groups of wildlife-friendly gardeners and gardens.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the project plan, including setting goals and objectives
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers, including training and supporting them in their roles
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners
  • Providing advice and support to Wilder Kent Awards applicants and promoting wildlife-friendly gardening throughout Kent
  • Monitoring and evaluating the project's progress and impact

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for wildlife conservation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
