Governance and Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team at Calibre Candidates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Development: Lead the development of policies and procedures aligned with our organizational values, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Compliance Management: Manage a policy review schedule to ensure timely approvals and maintain accurate governance records, including the register of business interests.
- Team Management: Lead a team of Governance Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful embedding of the Governance framework.
- Advisory Role: Advise on governance and compliance best practices, including legal matters for the Board and Local Authority.
- Statutory Policies: Develop and maintain statutory policies, including safeguarding, and ensure website updates are accurate and compliant.
- Meeting Support: Assist in meeting planning, minute taking, and action tracking, ensuring seamless coordination.
