Aurora Samuels Associates is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance cover to a 24/7/365 factory, working as the main point of contact and on their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use multi-skilled knowledge to maintain and enhance the performance of plant, equipment, and buildings.
  • Provide first-class, flexible support to the business, maintaining production requirements and factory services at all times.
  • Work a 4 on 4 off continental pattern, with two 12-hour day shifts and two 12-hour night shifts, on a contractual weekly average of 42 hours per week.
  • Cover holidays and sickness, demonstrating flexibility and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be competent and confident with both electrical and mechanical kit, with a practical approach to fault finding.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written/typed format, with a confident and competent communicator via telephones, radios, and emails.

Requirements:

  • Time served electrical/mechanical or multi-skilled apprenticeship.
  • Recognised electrical or mechanical qualifications, with the ability to demonstrate and facilitate electrical competency tasks.
  • Three years minimum of maintenance experience working in a production environment.
  • Competent electrical fault finding and analysis skills, with the ability to read and follow electrical drawings.
  • Self-managing and motivated, with the ability to prioritise daily preventative maintenance tasks against customer demand callouts.
