Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist

The Willmott Dixon Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join their in-house Infrastructure team.

This exciting opportunity would suit a CCNA certified Network Analyst with at least 12-18 months of experience in providing 1st and/or 2nd line network support.

Although the IT team is based at their head office, this role can be done as either a hybrid or a remote role. Occasional travel to other locations will be required according to business needs.

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing technical installations and testing according to design documentation and project planning.

You will also assist in the implementation of monitoring and observability for the network service and proactively identify and rectify performance/service issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level technical support for the network at Willmott Dixon including WAN, LAN, Firewall, Proxy, and Wireless technologies.
  • Ensure technical compliance with Service, Technical, and Security standards across the network service.
  • Support the Microsoft Teams telephony service, ensuring it runs optimally for the business.
  • Recommend site connectivity solutions and collaborate with sites to assure effective implementation.

Desirable skills include ITIL Foundation and CCNA certifications.

The estimated salary for this role is around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
