Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, manage, and inspire a team of dedicated educators and support staff to deliver exceptional educational outcomes.
  • Design and implement a tailored curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students, incorporating innovative approaches and multi-agency support.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, staff, and external stakeholders to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational standards, safeguarding regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using data and feedback to refine practices and achieve outstanding educational outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial leadership experience in a school setting.
  • Proven experience in working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in setting up or leading a new school or educational provision is highly desirable.
