Job Description: We are seeking an experienced energy lawyer with a minimum of 3-4 years post-qualification experience to join our Corporate practice. As an energy lawyer, you will advise on upstream M&A transactions, including negotiation and entry into upstream agreements such as Concessions, Production Sharing Agreements, and Joint Operating Agreements. You will engage with energy clients and commercially-minded financial institutions, including investment banks, hedge funds, and institutional lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise on upstream M&A transactions, including negotiation and entry into upstream agreements.
  2. Engage with energy clients and commercially-minded financial institutions.
  3. Contribute to the firm's extensive work in oil and gas, power, and renewable energy sectors, encompassing M&A, project development, finance, and dispute resolution.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in upstream M&A transactions.
  • Prior exposure to negotiating upstream agreements.
  • LNG-related experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with energy clients and sophisticated financial institutions is highly desirable.
