About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our academic team at Wayman Education in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nurturing and academically ambitious environment, teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Key Stage 3 (KS3) pupils and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To teach science to KS2 and KS3 pupils, tailoring lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all learners.
  2. To plan and deliver innovative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of science and encourage critical thinking.
  3. To foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where KS2 and KS3 pupils feel motivated and confident in their scientific abilities.
  4. To monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting their academic development as a Science Teacher.
  5. To collaborate with colleagues to ensure the science curriculum is consistent, challenging, and enriching for KS2 and KS3 learners.

Requirements
  • A qualified and experienced Science Teacher with a strong understanding of the KS2 and KS3 science curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment for KS2 and KS3 pupils.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and engage parents in their child's progress in science.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a comprehensive pension scheme.
