Job Summary:

As a Clinical Lead Nurse at our esteemed hospital site in Essex, you will play a pivotal role in aligning clinical standards and nursing care with best practices, thereby enhancing the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Registered Veterinary Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement clinical strategies that drive quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nurses, fostering their growth and development within the team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of action plans to address any areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early and late shifts, Monday to Friday, and one in six weekend shifts.
