Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, United Kingdom Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited Full time

Your new company is working exclusively with Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited to fill a Year 3 vacancy. A primary school, situated near Warwick and easily accessible from Coventry, Leamington and Stratford Upon Avon, is proud of the relationships it has built with parents, carers and the wider society. This school prides itself on the safeguarding and well-being of every child and is nurtured and supported.

Your new role as a Year 3 teacher will be working either 4 or 5 days a week. You will be responsible for taking on full class responsibility, including planning, preparation, marking and undertaking any assessments. The children within this class need someone who is nurturing and able to set clear boundaries and build excellent relationships with parents.

The parallel Year 3 teacher is part of the SLT, so planning will be shared across the year groups during PPA. This school is able to support ECT's, so it would welcome applications from newly qualified to more experienced teachers.

To succeed in this new job, you must consider yourself to be able to build excellent relationships with children and staff. Good knowledge of key stage 2 or a clear passion for working with Year 3 children is required. A good knowledge of Year 2 would also be beneficial for this year group. You must pride yourself on creating an enriched curriculum where children enjoy learning and thrive and making learning engaging and fun. Good behaviour management is also desirable.

This role can either be paid on a day rate, paid to scale, or there is the potential to be on a fixed-term contract paid directly by the school. Either way, it could have the potential to be extended next academic year. You will be supported by one point of contact and will be paid weekly or monthly.
