Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
  • Perform non-routine maintenance repairs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Carry out routine servicing of process control instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist with vendor-specified maintenance and ensure all site services are in good working order.
  • Respond to 24-hour call outs and provide advice on plant breakdowns.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and adhere to safe working practices.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and operational staff to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Perform equipment isolations and assist with the installation and commissioning of new plant facilities.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of maintenance experience on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Possess instrument qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a good working knowledge of electrical systems.

Competencies:

  • Ability to plan and prioritize daily activities to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
