Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our KS1 team at a fantastic 3-form entry Primary School in North Bristol.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our children, working closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality interventions and activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, and be able to communicate effectively with the Class Teacher and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children on a 1-to-1 basis and in small groups, focusing on core subjects and developing their understanding and knowledge.
  • Run interventions and activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Liaise with the SENCo to develop additional activities to support children with SEND.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Show initiative and flexibility in your work.
