Street Lighting Electrician Job Description

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Street Lighting Electrician to join our Street Lighting division. As a Street Lighting Electrician, you will work within a team to execute electrical street lighting installations and ensure timely completion of site works. You will collaborate on high-profile projects in Westminster, working closely with the supervisor to deliver results efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Interpret scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling to inform your work.
  • Maintain plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme and ensure all plant is fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure site works are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Street Lighting industry, with the ability to coordinate street lighting operations.
  • Hold a Class 2 HGV license and G39 certification, health and safety, safe isolation, and 18th edition.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving license.
