About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Dewsbury site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our factory through proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of excellence in health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to facilitate planned preventative maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs.
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on existing heavy machinery, including the installation of new plant.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools and techniques to optimize performance across all areas of the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize factory performance.
Requirements
  • Time-served, advanced apprenticeship (L3) in engineering maintenance (electrical), electrical installation, electrical & electrotechnical, mechatronics (electrical), or equivalent.
  • Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems and fault diagnosis desirable.
  • Computer literate in MS Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of basic continuous improvement tools and techniques.
