We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to work on afternoons and nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients based in Preston (PR26).

The role involves trunk runs and trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide, with an average of 3 to 4 trailer swaps per shift. Manual handling is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company's HGVs are loaded and unloaded efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct trailer swaps at designated hubs, adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 HGV license.
  • Experience in trunk runs and trailer swaps.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and nights.
