Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage a portfolio of commodities and suppliers, ensuring value for money and optimizing supplier performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and representing the supply chain department within nominated project teams.

• Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage current and future supply chains.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, including business reviews, supplier visits, contract, and SLA reviews.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP and other databases.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Experience as a Buyer or equivalent role within a technical manufacturing environment.
• SAP or Salesforce experience.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external groups.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, as well as flexible working hours, 37.5 hours per week, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and company pension contributions of up to 8%.
