Job Summary
As a key member of the Department for Transport's Digital Services Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the delivery of digital and data services. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of IT services, providing support to internal and external teams, and ensuring that all processes are carried out to ITIL standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the transition of new products and services into live service, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for customers.
- Support the Senior Service Manager (Digital Workplace) in the delivery of end-to-end digital services, including cross-team coordination, collaboration, and flexibility.
- Act as Transition Manager to ensure the successful transition of new products and services into live, including the completion of transition documentation and final certification.
- Manage relationships with digital, data, and technology internal and external suppliers, ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Provide input to business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring that the department is prepared for any eventuality.
- Continuously build and develop the skills and capabilities of people within the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to deliver high-quality services.

Person Specification
- Experience of IT service management across the service lifecycle (end-to-end), with demonstrable experience working with ITIL principles.
