Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Luxury Wine Service Ambassador, based in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and support to our private clients and on-trade customers.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as you will be responsible for responding to incoming calls, emails, and web enquiries from customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that customer needs are met while striving to exceed their expectations at every opportunity.

You will take ownership of the customer enquiry process, increasing follow-up, and fully resolving any complaints to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with other departments to gain information that assists in resolving customer queries and handle general customer inquiries and provide accurate advice in line with our service offerings.

Liaising with warehousing providers expertly and efficiently to resolve all customer delivery queries, you will also provide administrative, service, and sales support for other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and web enquiries from customers
  • Maintain a consistent record of exceeding customers' expectations
  • Take ownership of the customer enquiry process, increasing follow-up, and fully resolving any complaints to a consistently high standard
  • Work closely with other departments to gain information that assists in resolving customer queries
  • Handle general customer inquiries and provide accurate advice in line with our service offerings
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have experience of working within a fast-paced B2C Customer Service/Contact Centre environment, ideally within a luxury goods industry. You should possess excellent telephone manner and communications skills, with a high degree of listening skills and ability to empathise with customers.

Computer literate with experience of all main Microsoft office packages, you should also be able to multi-task and work under pressure in a busy environment. A flexible approach to working hours and performing other tasks as the need arises is essential.
