Nursing Department Head - Haemodialysis

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursing Department Head - Haemodialysis to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our nursing management team, you will be responsible for managing our haemodialysis department and promoting high standards of care.

The estimated salary for this role is £63,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Team

The Lister Hospital, Stevenage, New Queen Elizabeth II (New QEII), Welwyn Garden City, Hertford County, Hertford, and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC), Northwood, are all part of our network of hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the haemodialysis department and promote high standards of care
  • Participate in service planning and development
  • Responsible for the implementation of measurable accountable models
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse educated to Part 1 of the NMC Register
  • Post registration qualification in renal specialty
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Managerial and leadership qualification/ relevant experience
