Job Overview:

Unicatcatalyst, a renowned designer and manufacturer of high-quality Control Panels for industrial use, is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their team. With over 30 years of established reputation, the company values innovative solutions and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces/Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (HMI/SCADA) systems using Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Rockwell products.
  • Create network designs and implement industry-standard protocols such as MODBUS and OPC.
  • Commission on-site projects in the UK and abroad, including offshore locations.
  • Provide technical support to sales, proposal, project, and design teams, including simulations, estimating, software and hardware selection.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in PLC software development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring systems from Bentley Nevada, B&K, Emerson, Exor HMIs, IIoT, and Functional/Machine Safety.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits:
  • A competitive salary ranging between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Pension up to 6% and 32 days holiday including statutory leave.
