We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SENCO to lead our SEMH school in Oxford. This key leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the provision for students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school, ensuring the needs of students with SEMH are met effectively.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans for individual students in collaboration with teaching staff and external professionals.
- Oversee EHCP processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on SEN best practices and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each student.
- A qualified SENCO with experience working in an SEMH or SEN setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and thrive academically and personally.
