Job Opportunity: Biomedical Imaging Specialist

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultramicrotomy and electron microscopy analysis of research and diagnostic specimens.
  • Supervise and train NHS staff and facility users in the use of electron microscopes and other equipment.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the Biomedical Imaging Unit, including administrative tasks, data entry, and quality management.
  • Provide accurate and timely analytical data and results.
  • Deliver a high-quality service that meets the needs of patients and service users.
