Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Facilities Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for carrying out domestic and maintenance duties, including cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep of hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out domestic and maintenance duties, including cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep of hospital facilities
* Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
* Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals
* Provide support to terminal cleans and infection controls

Requirements

* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet service needs
* Basic IT skills to complete trust e-learning and use software to book annual leave
