About This Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team at The Jacksonheim Property Group. As a key member of our design team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding interior design solutions for our clients.

  • Assist our Senior Designers in developing our current pipeline, utilizing your skills and knowledge to create innovative and effective design solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their brand identity, vision, and business goals, ensuring that our designs meet their unique needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate floor plans, technical drawings, and design elevations, using software such as AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure properties to aid in creating accurate floor plans and technical drawings.
  • Support product sourcing and take full ownership of sourcing micro-areas of a development, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Ensure schedules of furniture and finishes are kept up to date on our client-facing software, Programma.
  • Perform administrative duties, including procurement of finishes, materials, and furniture.
  • Ensure that all ordered items arrive within the required timeframes and assist in ensuring that they reach the appropriate sites when contractors require them.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D rendering software, such as SketchUp and Enscape.
  • Experience in creating spreadsheets and a basic understanding of Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to professionally communicate with external stakeholders.
