Disability Assessor Role Overview

The Disability Assessor role at Maven Consulting Group Ltd involves conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will carry out telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments, gathering information and producing a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health

What We Offer
  • Excellent starting salary at £37,800pa
  • 10% bonus, equivalent to £3,780+ yearly; paid in one lump sum
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm working hours
  • Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
  • Pontefract based when working on site
  • Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 10 more days + pension
  • Hybrid/home working available
  • NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided

Requirements
An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post-registration experience. Someone who is proactive and keen to learn, with excellent oral and written communication skills, competent IT and computer skills, and comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.
